Edith lived to be 13 1/2.  A shy, seemingly unassuming girl, Edith followed the rules, minded her manners, and didn't hesitate to teach naughty puppies how to mind theirs.  She was enthusiastic about her walks and killing squeakers.  She went out of her way to make all things easy for us.
 
Edith had "her people," her inner circle, and for those lucky enough to be a part of it, Edith was a shining example of grace, strength, loyalty, self-control, athleticism, and beauty.   We will always marvel at the way Edith Jeane approached life.
